Ron Flack, NP

Ronald J. Flack was born in Jackson, MI. He attended Jackson College and earned an associates degree in natural sciences, followed by Michigan State University where he received a Bachelor of Science. The following year Ron graduated with a Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance from North Eastern Missouri State College. He was then hired by the federal government Justice Department, stationed in Detroit MI Federal Court. Ron was tasked in investigations of individuals whom were charged and convicted of federal crimes, as well as the apprehension and arrest of individuals involved in criminal behavior. Looking for greater satisfaction in his career, he decided to return to school to become a nurse. Ron attended Michigan State University for his nursing and nurse practitioner degrees, and began to work with a close associate in his office for several years. The physician of the office decided to pursue a new business venture, involving setting up new practices and clinics nationwide. Ron took over his practice, and employed several other physicians to help with the practice and oversee care of our patients. After one physician left due to injury and another to a new opportunity, he was caring for an excess of patients, and felt retirement might be a positive life change. Several weeks later he was at the local Foot hospital in Jackson, and one of the associates inquired if he would be interested in working at an occupational medical clinic a few days per week. When the COVID outbreak began, the patient load for occupational medicine decreased significantly and he began to look for a new opportunity in the medical field, which brought him to Katranji Hand Center.
